Description:
An original TV drama written, directed, and edited by Odagiri Joe, "Oliver the Dog, (Gosh!)" aired on NHK in 2021. Kono yaro". For some reason, only Ippei Aoba (Sousuke Ikematsu), a handler in the Police Dog Section of the Forensics Division, sees his partner Oliver, a police dog, as an old man in a dog costume who loves drinking, smoking, and women (he is a dog to everyone except Ippei). The legendary drama attracted a lot of attention when it was announced that it would be made into a TV drama. This legendary drama has been made into a movie written, directed, edited, and performed by Odagiri Joe. The music is composed by Masaki Mori of EGO-WRAPPIN, who also wrote the drama version. The blues, dub, and raunchy music matches perfectly with Oliver's worldview filled with laughter, seriousness & cynicism. An unprecedented dark fantasy in which a mysterious world you have never seen spreads out beyond a door you are not allowed to open. (C)RS
