Long-awaited new album by jazz singer Karen Aoki! Karen Aoki, pianist Wataru Sato (Gecko & Tokage Parade), and painter Yumihiko Amano have collaborated on the "transparent project," the name of which is used as the album title for their latest work. The latest album, named after the project, is now on sale! The album is a fusion of beautiful melodies floating in jazz chords and sad lyrics, and crosses over several scenes of jazz, electronica, ambient, and more. Included as a bonus track is the theme song for the movie "This Little Hand", which will be released in April 2023.Jazz singer Karen Aoki will be joined by pianist Wataru Sato (a leading figure in Japan's post-classical music scene and a member of Gecko & Tokage Parade!) ), and painter Yumihiko Amano (son of Yoshitaka Amano, the character designer for the world-famous Final Fantasy series of video games, and the creator of the DyeingStudioM T-shirt collaboration! After releasing a digital single, "transparent project", created in collaboration with DyeingStudioM, has finally arrived with a full album! The album is a combination of Karen's fresh lyrics, beautiful melodies spun with Karen/Wataru Sato's jazz chords, and jazz standards such as "Speak Low" and "Again" beautifully blended together.
