Description:
Greyhound," based on Cecil Scott Forrester's naval battle novel "The Destroyer Keeling" and written by and starring Tom Hanks, is set during the Battle of the Atlantic, a naval battle that began at the outbreak of World War II. The film depicts George Krause (Tom Hanks), an officer in the U.S. Navy who is appointed captain of the destroyer Greyhound, and his struggle to fulfill his duty as captain, despite his feelings of inferiority and self-doubt. The cinematography is by Aaron Schneider, who has worked on numerous films and dramas. The film also features a cast of talented actors including Stephen Graham, Rob Morgan, and Elizabeth Shue. The music will be composed by the same cast that composed "Oshiete! Dr. Ruth," "Gender Marriage? The Same-Sex Marriage Trial That Rocked America? and "The Same-Sex Marriage Trial That Rocked America," among others. The film features heroic music with a heroic horn at the center, tension-filled music with plenty of low strings, and lively music at a brisk tempo that enlivens the rich human drama that unfolds in a closed, secret space.
