BLUE TENTION" is a series of short-CD compilations by the Tokyo-based independent label Miobel Records. The theme of the series is "If your heart cries, your tears must be this color" and the songs are compiled from Japan and overseas. This third volume features works by The Velvet Underground (USA), BMX Bandits (UK), and La Casa Azul (Spain) from overseas, as well as a selection of Japanese artists such as Hideki Kaji, Su Suh, and Kayla Kurokawa from Japan. The BMX Bandits' works include works by Hideki Kaji, Swinging Popsicle, and Advantage Lucy. It should be noted that BMX Bandits' "Our Secret Life" was written by Norman Blake of Teenage Fanclub, a Glasgow treasure who is also a friend of theirs. The new and nostalgic strip CD package also includes a lyric card with special liner notes, an initiative of Miobel Records. All songs are newly remastered with the latest remastering in 2024. This is the 36th anniversary of the birth of the tanzaku CD.Participating work in the Tanzaku CD Day 2024.
