The remastering and SACD recording has expanded the space, brought out the sound clearly, and made the reverberation sound much closer to that of the original performance. Even when the orchestral and choral sounds are powerful, the detailed movements of the organ can be heard, and the various sounds combine to create a torrent of powerful energy, bringing a huge and moving performance to life before your eyes. Speaking of Richter, the 1958 studio recording of "Matthew" reigns supreme, but the live performance of Richter's "Matthew" is a must-hear. The overwhelming presence of the massive, huge sound and the enthusiasm of the live performance will make you roar. The sound is harsh and powerful, but at the same time, it has a romantic swell, and the Bach performance is so intense that it even makes one nostalgic.This is a great performance in which the music is so powerful that it gnaws at the heart.
