The Tarah recordings by Arbentrott have been continuously reissued by Altus, and this time a maniacal gem, the Kalinnikov No. 1, makes its debut. This time, a maniacal gem of Kalinnikov's No. 1 is back on the market, this time as a reissue from Altus. It has been out of print for a long time, but has finally been remastered and reissued. Kalinnikov's popular No. 1, full of melodies that will make you cry, is twice as interesting in Arbentrott's hands! It is filled with a supreme spirit of romance. The bold changes in tempo make each theme richly sung, and the orchestra is encouraged and inspired at every turn, pushing forward with an unrelenting tension. The explosive thrust of the finale is so impressive that one cannot help but fall in love with it. The fact that there are a few cuts in the performance is a charm, but it is a masterful performance with a deep charm and special flavor that is no less impressive. The J. Strauss also is a great performance, with the orchestra undulating like a living creature. It is a pleasure to hear "Emperor's Circle Dance" and "Danube"! The commentary includes Japanese translations of some of the poems that Arbendt Roth has edited. Some of them are based on Bruckner and Bach. King International
