Many precious photos are also included! The famous French label Tara, which had been inactive, is now back with a new mastering by Altus! The sound quality definitely surpasses the original, and it is a wonderful revival. This title is a collection of recordings of the last years of the life of the violinist Neveu, a tragic genius who died in a plane crash at the age of only 30. The sound quality of the Beethoven is superb, and Rothbout's dignified accompaniment is also a treat to listen to. Desormier's Brahms on CD is also excellent, with the elegant flavor of the first and second movements turning around, and the fervor of the final movement is unforgettable. The final movement is unforgettable. It is a pleasure to compare this recording with the Isselstedt recording. It is truly a pleasure to listen to the Neveu!
