Highly sought-after disc! Excellent sound quality! Naoya Hirabayashi also highly praised. The first stereo live performance by Matacic. The performance is a masterpiece of rich scale, especially the Wagner, his best work! This is probably the only recording of R. Strauss's "Dance of the Seven Veils". This is probably the only recording of R. Strauss's "Seven Veil Dances." It begins with a grotesque introduction and continues with a full-blown, lustrous atmosphere. Matacic's artistic attention to detail is admirable. Wagner is also an important composer who is at the core of Matacic's repertoire, and the performance is both profound and clear. The suite from "Götterdämmerung," which Matacic himself arranged, has been recorded with the Czech Philharmonic Orchestra and the NHK Symphony Orchestra, but this is the only recording that includes singing in the final movement. Sinek's singing is as wonderful as any Wagnerian singer of the past! The performance is a great pleasure to listen to, along with the powerful and undulating orchestral music. King International
