This is the first subscription concert of the same year, and the 600th in total, recorded live. Conducted by Junichi Hirokami, the 12th Permanent Conductor and Music Advisor of the Kyoto Symphony Orchestra, the duo has been deepening their relationship since 2008, and won the 46th Suntory Music Award in 2015. The duo is a "must-hear" duo. This monumental concert, which sold out, is now available on CD. The performance of "Jupiter" is based simply on the compositional principle of "the contrast between power and elegance. In the fugue of the last movement, the middle bass is resonant and the magnificent construction is very convincing. It was a joy to listen to. Junichi Hirokami was born in Tokyo. In 1984, he won the first Kirill Kondrashin International Competition for Young Conductors and began his international activities. He has made guest appearances with major orchestras such as the Orchestre National de France, Berlin Radio Symphony Orchestra, Concertgebouw Orchestra, Montreal Symphony Orchestra, Israel Philharmonic Orchestra, London Symphony Orchestra, Vienna Symphony Orchestra, etc. From 1991 to 1995, he was Principal Conductor of the Norrkoping Symphony Orchestra, and from 1998 to 2000, he was Chief Conductor of the Limburg Symphony Orchestra.
