This is an excellent recording produced by Keisuke Saito of the ALTUS label. ● Yoshiyuki Inoue (Conductor) He studied piano in Vienna under Bruno Seidlhofer and Branko Čuberca. He subsequently studied conducting under Sergei Celibidache, Horst Stein, and Leonard Bernstein. From 1986 onward, he further honed his skills under Gary Bertini. In 1992, he made his official debut at a subscription concert of the Czech National Brno Philharmonic Orchestra. Since then, he has continued to perform in various countries, primarily in the Czech Republic and Poland. From 2001 to 2003, he served as Music Director and Principal Conductor of the Armenian National Broadcasting Symphony Orchestra. He is currently Music Director of Japan Sinfonia and has served as Music Director of the Japan Gustav Mahler Orchestra since its inception. Since 2012, he has served as a visiting professor at the Mongolian State University of Music and Dance. ● Japan Sinfonia Founded in the fall of 2003 under the vision of Music Director Yoshitane Inoue, who proposed, “Let’s create an orchestra that not only performs domestically but also broadcasts authentic music from Japan to the world.” Its core members consist of Japan’s top musicians—who, like Music Director Yoshikazu Inoue, have extensive experience performing in Europe and are currently active both domestically and internationally.
