A tribute album to DER ZIBET in memory of ISSAY, a solitary rock poet who will be passed on to the next century, featuring Masami Tsuchiya (ISSAY on KA.F.KA), Yusuke Kobayashi, SUGIZO, MORRIE and many others who are unique in the cutting-edge scene, along with L'Arc~en~Ciel and many other artists. Produced by Hajime Okano, who has also worked on DER ZIBET's previous works. More than 70 musicians in total will cover the soulful works of ISSAY (DERZIBET), who is known to have been a great admirer of the late Atsushi Sakurai. Ironically, the sudden death of ISSAY in August of last year has created momentum for a reevaluation of DERZIBET, and with funds raised through crowdfunding, former staff members have invited friends who are closely associated with ISSAY/DER ZIBET and musicians who they recognize as having been influenced by them to produce the album. In December last year, Nippon Columbia lifted the ban on subscriptions, Warner Music released the best of SIXTY and lifted the ban on subscriptions, and SONY Music is preparing to do the same.The 40th anniversary of the band's formation should be a touchstone for the future of the great musical legacy left by ISSAY/Delzibet, called the "rock band that came too soon" and later considered the originator of Visual Kei.
