This is a collection of self-covers by Yoshihiro Kai of songs he has previously written for other artists; positioned as a “best-of” compilation of his self-covers, it is a new album featuring the ultimate selection of tracks, supervised and produced by Kai himself. The release of Yoshihiro Kai’s long-awaited first original full-length album in approximately 15 years has been confirmed. This album is a collection of self-covers of songs Yoshihiro Kai has previously written for other artists; it is positioned as a “best-of” self-cover compilation and features a new album curated and produced by Kai himself, representing his ultimate selection. Fifteen years have passed since the release of the self-cover collection *Homecoming*—originally released in 2011 as a fan club exclusive and through Kai’s office— this album features a carefully curated selection of 16 gems (14 tracks on the first-press edition) chosen from his past self-cover recordings, compiled as *Homecoming: Complete Edition*. For this album, “Heart to Rock” (originally written for Seiko Matsuda) has been included with a new mix. For the CD mastering, Grammy Award-winning engineer Ted Jensen of the renowned American studio Sterling Sound was enlisted.
