The Beatles

Description:

The Beatles were at their most successful as a live act in 1965, the year they made their big international breakthrough and became a giant. The Beatles' fortunes had changed in 1964, and they had played nearly 200-400 shows a year until the previous year, but they were now down to 80 shows, After a series of 20 shows at the Hammersmith Odeon in London between the end of 1964 and the beginning of 1965, the Beatles never played the same venue for more than a few days in a row. In February, the film "Help!" began shooting. The first real live performance of 1965 was on the first day of the European tour, just before the release of the film "Help! The first real show of 1965 was at the Palais des Spoors in Paris on June 20, just before the release of the film "Help!Although there was an NME Magazine Popular Vote Winners concert at London's Empire Pool (Wembley Arena) on April 11, this was the first time since their debut that the tour was interrupted for five months. Incidentally, one of the opening acts that appeared on this first day was famously the Yardbirds when Jeff Beck was with the band. The setlist has been updated a bit since late '64, with the latest single, "Ticket To Ride," appearing here. It is also known that there is a video of John singing "I'm A Loser" with a harmonica holder on. Paul's French-language MC and many other highlights can be heard, and the performance is truly magnificent. After touring in Italy and Spain, the tour continued on to North America about a month later. In half a month, they will tour 11 stadiums. In a sense, it can be said that these recordings were made during the most productive period of the band's live performances.
