Ron Dante, the famous American pop singer/composer/producer, also known as "The Voice of The Archies", has signed with Cool Sound! This is the world's first CD release of his copyrighted material! The best of N.Y. AOR is here! Joris & Simone is a two-men unit from Boston, with James Joris on bass and Kevin Simone (DeSimone) on keyboards. They collaborated in songwriting, with Joris writing the lyrics and Simone composing the music, and nine of the ten songs on this album are their originals. Two years later, the Ron Dante-produced album "Jolis & Simone" was released on Columbia. Two years later, they released the Ron Dante-produced album "Jolis & Simone" on Columbia, which knocked out even the most seasoned listeners with its great songs, vocals, choruses, and performances. That was the end of their one album as a duo, but they toured with Barry Manilow as a chorus member for about five years after that.The ballad "Stay," a song written by the two and reworked by Barry, rose to No. 23 on the U.K. charts in 1982. The liner notes were written by Kazutaka Ishii, a musical actor who professes to be a big fan of the album, and add a touch of class to this long-awaited release for AOR fans. This is the world's first CD release.
