Description:
Three titles of early live broadcast recordings of Talking Heads, one of the most important bands of New Wave, whose influence and significance is now being questioned once again, are released together! This is the eighth show of the tour for the band's second album with Brian Eno, "Fear Of Music" (1979), and is the full recording from the August 24, 1979 show at the Berklee Performing Arts Center at the Berklee College of Music in Boston, with the B-52's as the opening act, Two songs from Saturday Night Live recorded at NBC Studios in New York City on February 10 of the same year have been added. The band's sound was clearly different from the previous year, as they became more polished as a live band and began to pursue grooves as dance music. This is a valuable record of the band at their peak as a live band, as they began a new phase of development in the following year!
