I, a high school student who has no interest in other people and is always reading books alone, picks up a paperback book in a hospital waiting room. The book, titled "Kyoyoibunko" in handwritten letters, is a diary secretly kept by Sakura Yamauchi, the innocent and popular girl in her class. When "I" read the contents of the diary, Sakurara tells "I" that she is suffering from a pancreatic disease and does not have long to live. This was the only moment she could share her secret with someone other than her family and her doctor, with whom she had been hiding her illness. Until her last day, Sakurara tries to live her life as usual, doing whatever she wants and enjoying life to the fullest. Her uninhibited behavior gradually changes my mind. --It is a memory of spring for me.
