Kirito found himself in a virtual world of grandiose fantasy taste, and for some reason he had taken a full dive.
With a hazy memory of what happened immediately after he logged in, he wanders around the area in search of clues.
When he arrives at the Gigas Cedar, a huge jet-black tree, he meets a boy who tells him, "My name is Eugio.
My name is Eugio. Nice to meet you, Kirito-kun.
Despite being an NPC, the boy is a resident of the virtual world, but he has the same "emotional richness" as a human.
While deepening his friendship with Eugio, Kirito is searching for a way to log out of this world.
