The long-awaited new album by popular Icelandic artist Thin Fun! Saying goodbye to a special place, melancholic pop in the style of Thin Fun. Iceland's popular artist, Xin Huan. Sad Party" is their fifth album in three years, released after the collaboration "Team Dreams" (2018) with Seabear's bandmate Thorlei and Orval Smålason of Moom. The album was produced by Singh Huang alone in a downtown studio that is now closed due to skyrocketing rents in Reykjavik. The nine songs are based on mostly improvised jam sessions that were created during the last three weeks of recording at the place that has become a special place for the band, where they have done various recording sessions over the years.Although he has presented a variety of styles with each work, he has swum between lo-fi indie, dream pop, electronica, ambient, and his catchy melodic talents, richly textured layered sounds, and highly experimental spirit in his work to date. The result is the most melancholic, bittersweet, yet advanced psychedelic pop work to date. Only the domestic distribution version comes with a bonus track download code.
