Kroske, a rising star of city pop music, makes his Japan debut from Indonesia, a country that produces a lot of sophisticated pop music! Christian Alio Wibowo, aka "Kroske", is a promising young artist in the Indonesian indie scene who started his career as a guitarist/vocalist in the indie pop band Anomalist, and made his solo debut in 2018. He has also participated in the works of Mondo Gascalo, a leading figure in the Indonesian indie scene who is also extremely popular in Japan, and is also a favorite of Pum Viprit of Thailand, who is one of the most popular artists in Asia today. The Tales of Roses & Wine, his Japan debut, is his second album, released in October 2019.While the first album of 2018, which resonated with Mac DeMarco, Boy Pablo, Pum Viprit, and other indie bedroom music lovers around the world, was a more personal and impulsive work made in just two weeks, this album, like its predecessor, is almost entirely alone While he did everything, he spent more time working on it with co-producer Enrio Octaviano. This is extremely sweet mellow pop that combines city pop, funk, AOR, and 80's Indonesian pop. Like Pum Vipulit, Sunset Roller Coaster, and Mellow Fellows, this album has the potential to break out of Asia and become a success in the West. This is a Japan-only CD release. The Japanese version includes a bonus track, "Velvet," a duet with Kittundust, a solo project by Reality Club vocalist Fathia Izatti.
