Included in chronological order of composition (CD-1 "Mirror" is from the previous album RGCD-1053). Why I am attracted to Ravel... People are attracted to things that are full of mystery and unexpected gaps. To what we feel we want to know more about. It is said that Ravel always wore a mask on a daily basis, and even his closest friends did not know his true nature, and in a sense, he was a man of distinction. However, his works sometimes reveal a romanticism so strong that it is stronger than that of the Romanticists, and the gap between the two shakes me to my core. In contrast to his fiery romanticism, his works seem to gently plumb the depths of a sensitive heart that no one can enter. Ravel loved the sea. He lived his life in pursuit of, in his own words, "perfection, like the horizon that is never out of reach. The only way to understand his humanity is through the works he left behind. I hope that I can share the charm of Ravel and his works with you through my medium. (Rinako Murata) Profile of Rinako Murata Rinako Murata is a talented musician who has given nearly 30 concerto performances with the Berlin Philharmonic, a hall of fame! After graduating from Tokyo National University of Fine Arts and Music, she studied at the Berlin University of the Arts as a German Government Scholarship Student (DAAD), graduating at the top of her class with the highest unanimous score, and went on to study at Konzertexamen, where she obtained the German National Performer's Certificate. Winner of numerous international competitions, including the Porto International Competition, from 2003 to 2018 he was a lecturer at the Piano Department of the Berlin University of the Arts. Her first solo CD "Esprit's Journey" released in 2023 was specially recommended by Record Art.He is also active as a full-fledged piano duo with Pascal Devaillon, and their CD release was selected as a special recommendation by Record Geijutsu (Recorded Arts). He has extensive experience in chamber music and has performed at international music festivals around the world. His collaborators include Stephen Isserlis, Pavel Vernikov, Donsuk Kang, and many other renowned musicians. In addition, he writes for music magazines, has held master classes for more than 20 years, and is actively involved in a wide range of music education activities, such as video distribution on YouTube. Recently, he launched the "NAGAREYAMA International Chamber Music Festival" and assumed the position of Music Director. He aims to create an international chamber music festival of high quality by actively inviting leading performers from Japan and abroad. REGULUS
