Pentangle's debut album was released in Japan in 1968, when they were introduced as the standard-bearers of new rock. With two guitarists, Bert Jansch and John Renbourn, the band absorbed elements of jazz, and the vocals of Jackie Maxey, the band's only member in red, added color to the album. (C)RS
