French symphonic metal band Fairyland. Their solemn and fantastical world view makes their music seem as if you have jumped into the world of movies. They once disbanded, but the time has come for them to knock on the door of symphonic metal again. Formed in Nice, France, their music incorporates symphonic and epic elements of metal. Their music is characterized by orchestral elements, epic storytelling, and technical performances. The band was formed in 1998 by Fantasia Philip Jordana and Wildrick Levin. Guitarist Anthony Parker joined the band and met Elisa C. Martin while recording in 2002, and the band changed its name to Fairyland. The band toured with Sonata Arctica and became famous, but the band broke up in 2006; Philip died in 2022, but Wildrick continued what he had built over the years, and Archie joined in 2023, and Gideon, Briuk, and JB in 2024, becoming the current Fairyland The company will be called Fairyland in 2024.
