The medieval-themed folk metal band Feuerschwanz was formed in 2004. They first reached No. 1 on the official German album charts with "Memento Mori" (2021), and since then they have been immensely popular and are now recognized as one of the most sought-after artists on the German scene. Finally, after more than 20 years, the 2023 album "Purgatory (2023)" and the latest work, "Warriors (2024)," were released simultaneously in Japan. Fegefeuer/2023" is a 2-CD set that includes the studio album and a live recording from the Wacken Open Air stage in Germany in 2022. In addition to the band's popular songs, a cover of Manowar's popular song "Warriors of the World" was also performed live, and the album includes that recording, making it a must-have for power metal fans. This is Feuerschwanz's introductory disc, sent with the band's current momentum and the best set list. The latest release, "Warriors (2024)," is the best album produced to celebrate the band's 20th anniversary.The album features re-recordings of the band's best-known songs in English, as well as new songs. The band gained popularity at the Wacken Open Air and Summer Breeze Open Air in 2022, and also enjoyed great popularity and success abroad at events such as Masters Of Rock and 70,000 Tons Of Metal. Therefore, for the overseas market, 10 selected songs from the past years are included in English version. In addition, a new song, "The Unholy Grail," features a gorgeous guest, adding a new charm to the album. The album also features a cover of the classic song "Valhalla Calling," inspired by the world of the game "Assassin's Creed," created by the music team Miracle Of Sound, which is expected to become synonymous with the band in the future!
