UNLEASH THE ARCHERS is the sixth studio album by Canadian power metal band UNLEASH THE ARCHERS, fronted by female vocalist Britney Slays. The band released their debut album "Behold the Devastation" in 2009. It was a work that showcased the band's unique musicality, absorbing various genres such as power metal and death metal, and had enough potential to give a glimpse of the band's future success. The band went through several member changes, with Grant Truesdell joining in 2011 and Andrew Kingsley in 2013, bringing together the core members of the current band. The band continued to release albums and tour steadily, and in 2015 signed with Napalm Records, a major international label, which allowed the band to evolve into a more worldwide band. Around the same time, the band also made its first tour of Japan, where it showed off its solid abilities in front of Japanese fans.This album is a powerful and exhilarating work that combines heaviness, power, and melody, and is the culmination of all the band has to offer at this point in their career. The Japanese version of the album includes a bonus track, "Ghost In The Mist," sung entirely in Japanese by Britney. This is truly a gift from the band made just for the Japanese fans. As is customary with this band, the mixing and mastering was done by Jacob Hansen. The sound production is also perfect.
