THE END MACHINE originally started out as another DOKKEN, with George Lynch (G), Jeff Pilson (B), and Mick Brown (Ds), all former members of DOKKEN, minus Don Dokken. The band's self-titled debut album was highly acclaimed for its concept and for embodying the desires of classic metal fans. However, Mick Brown retired after the release of the debut album, and Steve Brown, Mick's younger brother, joined the band as a drummer for the second album, "Phase 2". Steve Brown's drumming was as strong as his own brother Mick's, and contributed greatly to the completeness of the album. This third album is also based on the LA metal of the 80's, and while incorporating catchy melodies and phrases, it is also a legitimate album that allows the listener to enjoy the technical skills of a veteran of many battles. This is a great work that is sure to please fans as a legitimate metal work that allows them to enjoy the technical skills of the veterans of the band.
