Description:
This is the debut album from ModX, the AOR/West Coast project newly founded by Swedish musician Peter Eriksson, who was originally the frontman of the band Modesty in the 80s. The idea for this project dates back to 2005, and up to the present Peter has continued to compose alone intermittently over the years, while keeping an eye on current trends in the music industry. The project began in earnest in the fall of 2020. In order to make the concept he had been warming up to a reality, he wrote and added new songs to complete the album, while newly re-recording songs that had already been completed. This debut album was completed in this manner. The band has already released several songs from this album, starting with the debut single "Looking For Closure," which was released in 2021. These singles show that Peter is a talented musician, with songs ranging from up-tempo, exhilarating tunes to mellow, penetrating ballads. I would also like to add that Peter plays all the instruments on this album, with the exception of a few parts, demonstrating his versatility.
