PRAYING MANTIS, one of the most popular NWOBHM bands in Japan, has completed its latest studio album, "Katharsis", four years after its last album, "Gravity". PRAYING MANTIS' biggest selling point is their melodious and catchy music with the traditional twin-lead guitars, which has been passed down since their debut in the 80s. The identity of PRAYING MANTIS is unshakable in this album, which features crying guitars and a thick, transparent chorus. It is a work that will satisfy fans. The band will celebrate the 40th anniversary of its debut in 2021, and its history has been one of turbulent member changes, with the exception of the Troy brothers Tino and Chris, who have changed rapidly. The fluctuations finally came to an end with the lineup that has continued since their last album, "Legacy" (2015), and the current album is also made with the Troy brothers, John "Jaycee" Kuipers, Andy Berges, and Hans Inzant.
