This is the first solo album in about 20 years by guitar hero "Reb Beach," who has played in many bands since the 1980s, including Whitesnake, Winger, Dokken, and Black Swan, and is still active at the forefront. While Reb himself sang on his previous album, this time all the songs are instrumental. Even though there is no singing voice, it is not too much to say that Reb's guitar is singing. His playing is not confined to the metal category, and as the title of the album suggests, it truly reveals his inner self. The band is supported by Michele Luppi (Keys), a colleague from Whitesnake, Philip Bino (Ba), known for his work with Steve Vai and Ring of Fire, and David Throckmorton, a unique jazz drummer who has worked with guitarist Torayasu Hotei on the drums. The album was produced by David Throckmorton, a unique jazz drummer who has played with guitarist Tomoyasu Hotei, as well as a variety of other guests.
