This is the 19th studio album by Sinner, led by Matt Sinner, known for his work with Primal Fear and others, after two years since their last album. This is the first Japanese release in eight years. The same goodness is there. It is an unmistakable 100% pure German metal album with melody, power, and speed. Santa Muerte in the title is a Spanish word meaning the Virgin of Death, indicating a saint or goddess in Mexican folk Catholicism. She is represented as the personification of death and is worshipped locally as the fulfillment of all wishes. Guest musicians include Ronnie Romero (Rainbow), Ricky Warrick (Thin Lizzy), and Magnus Carlson (Primal Fear, etc.). The album was mixed and mastered by Dennis Ward of Pink Cream 69.
