This is the first new album in six and a half years from the legendary Swedish band Candlemass, which continues to influence subsequent bands as one of the pioneers of doom metal. Original singer "Johan Langquist," who participated in the band's debut album "Epicus Doomicus Metallicus," returns to the band for the first time in 32 years. This work was produced with a return to their roots in mind. The band commented that they "explored the direction of returning to their roots and sought the soul and essence of the early band. Tony Iommi" of "Black Sabbath" guested on the album.
