(Master tape → Master stamper → Mother stamper → Stamper) As a result, some variation in sound from the master tape has been observed. Even under these conditions, we have consistently delivered the highest-quality products; however, we have been working tirelessly to find a way to deliver a sound that is virtually identical to that of the master tape itself. The result is a disc created from the “virgin stamper”—the very first stamper produced directly from the master tape. You’ll be able to hear the purity of sound that comes from the very first cut! This disc was previously provided only to producers for testing and has long been regarded by audiophiles as a “phantom disc.” A direct-cut SACD that captures the fresh, vivid purity of the master tape.
