The winner of the 6th Sendai International Music Competition, this young violinist has a very good balance of intellect, emotion, and intention. The beautiful tone of Gadagnini's music is attractive, but he is also a performer with the potential to bring the composer's inner voice to music. This may come from his experience as a member of a string quartet. He listens carefully to music and expresses it. It is not easy to find a performer who can do this naturally, and Yoojin is one who can do it. I look forward to seeing more of his work in the future. (She has performed with the KBS Symphony Orchestra and the Seoul Philharmonic Orchestra since she was 9 years old, and gave her first recital at the age of 11. In 2007, she performed Tchaikovsky with the Budapest Festival Orchestra conducted by Ivan Fischer, and in 2009, she performed with the Kioi Sinfonietta Tokyo in Seoul and with the Orquesta Sinfonica de la Exremadura in Spain. He also performed with the Orquesta de Exremadura in Spain in 2009 to great acclaim and was invited back to Japan.She won third prize at the 2004 Menuhin Competition, fourth prize at the 2009 Seoul International Music Competition, second prize and audience award at the Michael Hill International Violin Competition, and best performance of a commissioned work; in 2013, she won the Munetsugu Angel Violin Competition and was awarded a Stradivarius In 2014, she won the fifth prize at the Indianapolis International Violin Competition and was a semi-finalist at the 2015 Tchaikovsky International Violin Competition. As of 2017, she has appeared in victory recitals and concerts with major orchestras throughout Japan. She graduated summa cum laude from the National University of the Arts in Korea and studied with Miriam Fried at the New England Conservatory of Music in Boston. Octavia Records.
