Starting with the lead single “Burned Out,” the band mercilessly hammers home their anger and sarcasm toward modern society through a wall of sound. Another highlight is the return of longtime ally Paul Barker—who was with the band until 2003—to a MINISTRY album for the first time in 23 years; he co-wrote the closing track, “We’re Still Here,” with Juulgen. More than 40 years since their debut—MINISTRY has remained true to their own style, never toning down their edge, right to the very end. A true “final blow,” fitting to cap off their career!
