On *Sirenas*, the Los Angeles-based four-piece band Allah-Las explores a spiritual universe woven from atmospheric instrumental storytelling. The band’s sixth album centers on a more improvisational soundscape shaped by free-form experimentation, intuitive vibrations, and open-ended moments where the inner and outer worlds intersect. From The Durutti Column, I.A.O., and Popol Vuh’s score for Werner Herzog’s films, to the underwater expanses of Jacques Cousteau’s *The Silent World*, *Sirenas* absorbs a fluid wave of influences to weave a subconscious groove that is both vaguely imagined and deeply felt, forging new paths in the process that were previously unimaginable.
