The video director was Shuichi Banba, who had previously directed their live video at Hibiya Open-Air Concert Hall and documented their overwhelming stage performances. With sound engineer (PA) Naoyuki Uchida on board, the film captures the overwhelming rumble that shook eardrums, the prayers that made the air vibrate, and the “soundscape of that day”—exactly as it resonated at the Budokan—and delivers it straight to your speakers. Furthermore, “AlivePainting” by Akiko Nakayama—which vividly colored the stage—spreads across the screen as a beautiful chaos of light and color. The bonus footage also includes the “Mad Medley VJ” produced by video artist Daisuke Ukishita, as well as the complete VJ footage for the new song “beat.” As an enclosed bonus, the set includes a special booklet featuring original essays written by the four members, each sharing their own perspective on the theme of “Budokan.” For the witnesses who filled the venue, the tens of thousands of viewers who joined the 100-hour livestream, and the fans across the country who journeyed with them through all 54 performances, this work is not merely a live concert recording—it is the “conclusion to their own story” and, at the same time, a long-awaited visual release heralding the beginning of a new season.
