This latest single—the third collaboration between Chie Kato and Genji Miyano—is packed with Yuffy’s signature charm! The lyrics were written by Chie Kato, a novelist and poet whom Terashima deeply admires, and who has recently gained attention as a radio and podcast host. The composition and arrangement were handled by Genji Miyano, known for providing music to acts such as Philosophy of Dance and Win Morisaki. This marks the third collaboration between the two for Yufu Terashima, following 2016’s “Watashi ni Naru” and 2021’s “Atarashii Watashi.” This song is a message to the fans and “yuru-chara” (cute mascots) she has met across the country, as well as to those dear to her—a theme that perfectly captures Terashima’s unique identity as “the idol who has collaborated with the most yuru-chara in Japan” as she performs nationwide. The B-side features “Onagawa Town’s Seepal-chan ~Bon Odori Version~,” inspired by “Seepal-chan,” the official mascot of Onagawa Town in Miyagi Prefecture, where she serves as a tourism ambassador.
