Seth, formed in 1995, is known as one of the main players in the French black metal scene. 2004 marks their fourth studio album. Their 1998 debut, Les Blessures de l'Ame, is regarded as a cornerstone of French black metal, and as a result, the band has established itself as an internationally recognized entity. Over the next 25 years, they released five more studio albums. Era Decay" is Seth's fourth studio album, released in 2004, and is a more brutal integration of riffs, compositional styles, and ideas into a style that reflects the times, while retaining black metal elements in a more progressive and technical vein. The cleaner, cutting production made it one of the band's heaviest works, a powerful, dark, and sometimes experimental opus of complex riffs and melodies.
