Omni, an indie rock band from Atlanta, USA, formed by former Deerhunter members and others, has completed its first new album in four years. The music of Atlanta trio Omni has always swung fast and hit hard, and their second album for Sub Pop and fourth for themselves, Souvenir, packs the biggest punch yet. During most of Pandemic, the longest hiatus in the band's history, they built up their energy and went into the recording process in that state. Guitarist Frankie Broyles, singer/bassist Philip Frobos, and drummer Chris Yonker transformed their creativity into sharp, driving songs that land instantly with snappy riffs, staccato beats, and twisting melodies.
