Venera, the electronic project of James Shaffer (Korn) and Chris Hunt. Finally releasing their self-titled debut album with numerous guests, Venera is the electronic project of James "Munky" Shaffer and Chris Hunt of the platinum-selling rock band Korn, HEALTH, Deantoni Parks, VOWWS, Alain Johannes, and others. Los Angeles-based James and Atlanta-based Chris met while working on a song for singer Xhoana X in downtown Los Angeles in early 2022. Their shared interest and background in dramatic textures, electronics, and experimentation was inspired by an improvisation-based recording process, and the evolutionary atmospheres, cinematic noise, and carefully selected collaborations with other artists to They explore sound worlds defined by collaboration.
