Always exceeding expectations, jazz artist Kurt Rosenwinkel's newest release is Chopin Jazz! Arranged and produced by the up-and-coming Swiss pianist Jean-Paul Broadbeck! Kurt Rosenwinkel's new work is a collection of Frederic Chopin pieces arranged and produced by Swiss pianist Jean-Paul Broadbeck in a quartet formation. This new work consists of "24 Preludes," which is popular in Japan, "Exercises Op. 10 No. 6" and "Nocturne No. 7, 27-1," etc. Broadbeck's trio includes young Swiss bassist Lucas Traxel and Jorge Rossi (known as the Brad Meldor Trio's (known as the drummer of the Brad Meldor Trio), the quartet interprets Chopin with a free spirit. Kurt's guitar playing is a fresh surprise as he sings Chopin's melodies in his own way. This is a Chopin piece that transcends the realm of classical jazz arrangements and transforms into Kurt Rosenwinkel's jazz. Includes one bonus track exclusive to the Japanese edition.
