Description:

In the past few years, the Jazz Is Dead event in LA has gained popularity for its exceptional planning and concept, including a miraculous live collaboration between Wendell Harrison and Phil Ranelin, founders of the legendary black jazz label Tribe, and a reunion show of the famous jazz rap pioneers, the Diggable Planets. Jazz Is Dead" is a jazz event in L.A. that has been gaining popularity over the past few years for its exceptional planning and concept. Jazz Is Dead" has finally started its own label! The label is headed by The Midnight Hour, a duo consisting of the genius Adrian Young and ATCQ producer Ali Shaheed Muhammad. After the third Marcos Valli album and the fourth Azimuth album by Brazilian music legends, this is the fifth album by the great Doug Kahn, who is synonymous with black jazz! Doug Kahn has released several albums on the famous jazz label Black Jazz, including "Infant Eyes", "Spirit Of The New Land", "Revelation" featuring his wife, Jean Kahn, and the rare masterpiece "Adam's Jazz", the last album on the label, which was a huge commercial success. Doug Kahn has left behind masterpieces that have contributed greatly to the development of modal jazz and spiritual jazz in a style that is strongly influenced by John Coltrane. Doug Kahn, an exceptionally talented composer who has created many masterpieces that have gone down in rare groove history, including "Power And Glory" and "Higher Ground," has co-written all 11 tracks on this album with the two members of The Midnight Hour. The Midnight Hour, the duo that welcomes you to the show, will be performing an ambitious and challenging black jazz style that successfully blends Doug Kahn's spiritual jazz sound with Adrian's signature cinematic jazz, Ali's epic soul music, and hip-hop, which is the background of both musicians. The result is an ambitious and challenging black jazz style that embodies "black jazz. For Doug Kahn, who embodies "black jazz," there could not be a better comeback album. The guest appearance of Gary Bartz on (10) "Nunca Um Malandro" is also a delight for jazz fans!
