Harumi Shibayama, a soprano with a voice that shines as softly as silver light, has released her first CD with lute player Takashi Tsunoda. The title of the CD, "Romance," refers to a story that has been sung by Spanish minstrels since the Middle Ages, and has become a favorite among the people. The title of the CD is "Romance," a story song that has been sung by bards and loved by the people of Spain since the Middle Ages. The CD includes "Romances de Valdobinos" by Luis de Milan, a bihuela player active during the reign of King Felipe II, who represented the golden age of Spain; folk songs from Catalonia, such as "Song of the Birds" introduced by cellist Casals, which became world famous; folk songs from Andalusia, compiled by the playwright and poet García Lorca; and "Romances of the Birds" by the composer and composer, Gerard Dorado, who was a member of the Spanish National Anthem Society. Andalusian folk songs, and songs by the classical guitar composer Sol, whose song collection is titled Seguidilla, a folk dance. The collection also includes a group of songs called Vilancicos, which were composed in the 16th century by court composers who arranged folk songs of the time into their own works. Spain has long been a country where the cultures of the East and West have intermingled, and a unique performing art has been nurtured.The strong smell of earth and exotic flowers nurtured by the strong sun and rain are carried on the wind and flow through the music, transcending time. 17 songs in total.
