The album also features an all-star lineup of artists, including Lucy Park, BabyRose, Bas, Eryn Allen Kane, and Labrinth. Their diverse backgrounds and sensibilities lend a rich breadth to the entire work. Released in 2022, *VINCENT* was a huge success, and FKJ subsequently embarked on a massive tour of the world’s leading venues, including Coachella, Red Rocks, London’s Hammersmith Apollo, and Le Zénith in Paris. However, behind that success, his own life was in turmoil. A video he happened to come across shed light on the reason why: the concept, rooted in Hindu philosophy, that “age 33 is a turning point where life either takes a major leap forward or begins a downward spiral.” Upon digging deeper, he discovered that many of his friends had experienced similar difficulties at the same age. The root of the problem lay in another contradiction. Most of *VINCENT* was created while he was holed up in his home studio in East Asia during the lonely months of the COVID-19 pandemic. On the other hand, as the world began to move again, FKJ kept running to meet the flood of offers pouring in, losing the mental space to recognize the toll it was taking on him. (1/2)
