One Autolix Point Never 2023, the latest album is here. Daniel Lopatin, aka One Autolycus Point Never (OPN), has released his latest album, "Again," on Warp. In Daniel's own words, the album is an "ideological autobiography," a message, a conjuring backwash of digital language and sonic paranoia, of the remembered and the forgotten, all rendered with OPN's trademark melodic touch. As was the case with Garden of Delete, the project for Again began as a collaboration between Daniel's current and younger selves. From there, the album grew into an "illogical period piece" that never adhered to its original concept, but rather converged memories and fantasies to form something entirely new. In this album, musician Daniel Lopatin creates music that transcends time and space, imagining a world that might have been.What decisions closed off how many realities? What sounds were created in these other worlds? Throughout his career, OPN has been known for his artistic jacket designs, and for this album, OPN has chosen a sculpture by Matthias Faldbakken, based on a concept conceived with Daniel himself, and photographs taken by Vegard Cleeven. The packaging and overall design is by Memory, a new collaborative project by Daniel Lopatin and clothing brand Online Ceramics (Elijah Funk & Alix Ross). The LP will be available in three formats: standard vinyl (black vinyl), limited edition vinyl (blue vinyl), and vinyl with Japanese language obi (blue vinyl with bilingual lyrics and instructions). In addition, the Japanese language vinyl LP will also be available as a set with a T-shirt.
