The album was co-executive produced by Kerera and LA producer Asmara, with Kerera composing and arranging all of the songs. Other producers on the album include Yo van Lenz and FlorianT M Zeisig, who also work as the ambient unit OCA, and LSDXOXO, who produced the entire album, and Canadian Bambii ( Bambii) also participated in additonal production. With a new chapter, Kelela has completed "RAVEN," an extremely beautiful and lustrous musical experience.Through the 15 songs on this album, including the already acclaimed predecessors "WashedAway" and "Happy Ending," Kerera explores autonomy, belonging, and self-renewal.
