Kiichi Arimoto Releases His First Full-Length Album, “HumanTrustBand”! This is Kiichi Arimoto’s first full-length album, consisting of 11 tracks in total, including Track 10, “Let’s Shout,” which was released as a single in 2024 and selected for J-WAVE’s monthly “SONARTRAX” Power Play. This collection, centered entirely on live instruments, creates a unique groove throughout the album by reconstructing live performances using the knowledge he has cultivated through his work in digital programming and MIDI production. Based on solo material he had been accumulating since 2022, Arimoto holed up in a studio in Tokyo from December 2025 through January 2026. He produced the album by holding sessions not only with band members—who have been his musical companions since his student days and currently support his solo activities as Kiichi Arimoto—but also with various musicians he met through his work in the music industry. Arimoto wrote the lyrics, composed the music, and arranged 10 of the 11 tracks himself. Track 11, “660 Days,” produced by Ryo Konishi of CRCK/LCKS, brings the album to a close. For this album, titled “HumanTrustBand,” what Arimoto valued most was the human pulse. Conscious of filling the album with the organic groove born from human interaction, he channeled his diverse emotions toward music—with love—into the songs through his lyrics, composition, and vocals.
