XTASY is a Spanish melodic hard band that started in 2011 as a studio project of a female singer, Silvia, and a guitarist, Jorge Oroqui. The duo wrote and recorded their first album, "Revolution", which was released in October 2014 on Melodic Rock Records and was mixed and mastered by ECLIPSE's Eric Mortenson. The band was a true band. Aiming to become a true band, the duo brought in a new guitarist, bassist, and drummer and transformed into a new five-piece band. The band started to play live mainly in Spain through 2015, and also worked as a support act for HELIX, DARE, and ECLIPSE. The album was released in March 2017 and the band toured all over Europe.In 2019, the band will begin work on its third album. Eye Of The Storm" is the result of the band's renewed empowerment of Eric Mortenson, and the quality of the melodies and playing has improved, and the evolution of these qualities is clearly recognizable. The sound has also become more dynamic. XTASY has created a new album that lives up to its name of melodic hard rock with passion and melancholy, and will surely become one of Spain's leading bands in the near future.
