IRON ANGEL, the true legendary band of German speed metal, is miraculously back! Dirk Schroeder is still alive and well, and the NWOBHM storm that swept through the UK with IRON MAIDEN, SAXON, DEF LEPPARD, and JUDAS PRIEST at the top became a huge movement that spread to the entire world. In Germany at the time, SCORPIONS and ACCEPT were beginning to play an active role, but there were not many metal bands yet. However, in the underground, many bands were emerging like bamboo shoots after rain (including RUNNING WILD, RAGE, and HELLOWEEN), aiming for their breakthrough. In such an era, a young German metaller, influenced by the storm, started a band with the goal of creating a metal sound that was a mix of KISS, MOTORHEAD, and JUDAS PRIEST. The band developed into IRON ANGEL. The band was formed in 1980 in Hamburg, Germany, and debuted in 1984.The band released their masterpieces "Hellish Crossfire" (1985) and "Winds Of War" (1986), and their aggressive stage presence established their reputation as a phenomenal live band. The band's aggressive stage presence established their reputation as a phenomenal live band. However, the band decided to disband, and sadly, disappeared from the scene. Fifteen years later, the band reunited for a tour of Germany with KING DIAMOND, which was a hit, and their live performances with a strong sense of activity left fans in awe. The band then proceeded to record a new album. However, Peter died in a car accident, and the release of this album was cancelled. In 2016, the band played the Metal Magic festival. In 2016, the band played the Metal Magic festival and this year also played Headbanger's Open Air, as well as a successful tour of South America. Now, the band is proud to announce the completion of their full-length revival album, "Hellbound. This is their first release in 32 years! The majestic metal style with Dirk Schroeder at the center of the band will move you to tears.This album is a must for former ACCEPT fans and German speed metal fans!
