The title track "Inside Out" is reminiscent of "The Cologne Concert," with a lyrical piano solo in the middle section that gradually intertwines with the rhythm, developing into a brilliant blues feeling that intoxicates the listener. Other tracks are filled with a terrifying sense of tension. Three great musicians—Keith Jarrett, Gary Peacock, and Jack DeJohnette—pour their entire being into their instruments to create each fleeting moment. The result is a magical moment in music. This album is already poised to become one of the defining recordings of the 21st century.
