Masterpieces for two pianos played by a husband and wife piano duo! The masterpieces of Dvořák, Brahms, and Tchaikovsky played by a husband-and-wife duo on two pianos! Sometimes thrilling, sometimes poignant, childhood memories! Gülul Ensari was born in Turkey, and Herbert Şuf was born in Romania. Despite the differences in their country of birth and roots, the duo found commonalities in their childhood memories. This commonality was the impetus for the program composition of this album. Šuf grew up in Romania, Hungary's neighbor, and although he had no direct connection to Hungary, he felt close to the country from his childhood, and Hungarian music was played in his home. On the other hand, Ensari, who grew up in Istanbul, was influenced by Western music from an early age and grew up surrounded by Brahms, Dvořák, and Tchaikovsky at home. Their memories of these two musicians have been carefully thought out and recorded on this album by Corona Disaster.Finally, including a piece dedicated to them both from Ensari's Turkish roots, the composer Ousmane Balji, the husband and wife duo plays with a breathtakingly harmonious performance.
